It is not safe for scaleless fishes such as cory and loaches. If you have a heavily shrimp-planted tank, it is always safer to treat the fish in a separate hospital tank.

Will this turn my aquarium water blue?

You will notice a temporary blue tint in the water upon dosing—don't worry, that's perfectly normal! The color will dissipate over time and can be completely removed with a water change and the reinsertion of activated carbon once the treatment is finished.

Does this affect my biological filter?
